In Memoriam Year 2026

Bouli

Read Bouli's Memory
Bouli was my companion for 15 years and she travelled with me from England to LA, then to Canada, Austin and finally she had a well deserved retirement on the mountain in Twin Peaks. She was my everything and I was her everything and she hated everything and everyone else. I will never know love like this but I’m so grateful I had this once in a lifetime bond with her. I love you forever Bouli.

Billie aka Cupcake

Read Cupcake's Memory

Billie was a little warrior, she was a little miracle that superseded the law of reality. Never knew how strong love could truly be until I found her. Or maybe she found me either way we were magnetically bound to each other by love. She was my purpose in life and will always be.

Kimi & Yuki, our sweet orange and creamy boys. Thank you for all the love and joy you brought into our lives. You’ll always be missed and never forgotten. Run free together, our beautiful boys. Until we meet again Love ❤️❤️

King

Read King's Memory

My sweet baby boy King has had a special place in my heart since I got him. He was always right behind me, or within sight staring into my soul. I used to say that song 🎶 “Every step you take every move you make I’ll be watching you” was his theme song. King is my best friend, my soul dog. He’s the big cuddly lovable pity that you hear about. The house hippo, couch potato. He was a lover and a protector.

What an amazing beautiful life full of memories I’ve had with him. I’ve had king for 10.5 years, I’m beyond grateful for that. He aimed to please and all he ever wanted in life was to be with me, next to me, staring at me. He just wanted to be in my presence.

My heart hurts so bad. I wish more than anything they could live longer. Losing him hurts down to my core, but the love and joy they give could never be replaced, and for that I’d do it over and over again. I can’t wait to see him again. I’ll miss him for the rest of my life and look forward to the day I get to see him again. Goodbye for now my sweet gentle boy, I’ll definitely see you again. We lost his sister Dora in January I know she was waiting for him. 💙🐾🌈

Koda

Koda's Memory
To my huge, smart, loving, protector… There are no words other than thank you for everything you brought to our family. We were blessed to have you in our lives for so long. Too many memories to count but our favorite was when we first took you to the beach you took a poop in the water and frolicked away. We love you kods. Destroy all the toys and dig all the holes you want up there 💜

Daisy

Daisy's Memory
Daisy was our first dog as a married couple, the first dog as parents to our child, the first dog to our daughter, and our first dog to the following 3 children. She wasn’t a house pet, or a dog, she was family. She has traveled everywhere we go, camping and vacationing. She protected the house when I was at work, and was at the door when I got home. She was such a lover, a counter surfer and a best friend. She loved playing, running, being involved in mischief and loved to be petted. We have her at the entrance so everyone knows this is still her house. In loving memory of Ms Daisy.

Mochi

Mochi's Memory
She loved getting pets from anybody she could get them from. She left to go on adventures with her mommy. She was the best girl ever.

Ellie

Ellie's Memory
Ellie was a wonderful and happy companion that brought joy to the home. Will miss those gentle “woofs” looking for attention, the sounds of her paws on the floors, and the special greetings we got when we came home. She was an amazing and hearty pooch.
Ginger's Memory
I remember getting Ginger like it was yesterday. I was 16 when I came across a “free kittens” sign at my local vet. I called the number right away and went to the house with a friend. The kittens were in a play pen, and as I looked into the pen, the most beautiful, colorful little tortie kitten looked right at me. I knew then and there she was the one.

We took off to Petco, and the rest was history. 16 years wasn’t long enough. There will never be an amount of time that will be.

I will never forget her love, her meows, sharing slow blinks back and forth, and her little tail quivers when I would talk to her.

I miss her dearly. I look for little pieces of her everywhere. She is the reason cats mean so much to me. I will continue to honor my sweet girl by giving as many kitties as I can the best life.

“I will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you.” – Jameson Arasi

Lola Mae

Lola Mae's Memory
Lola Mae has a very rough life prior to our adopting her in 2023. She was 5 pounds underweight, matted, flea ridden and blind in one eye. She was originially Lily but my hubby thought she looked lke a little ole laady and wanted to call her Lola. I felt that was a risque name and felt she was more a Lola Mae. She fit quickly in with Baron and Molly. We had to train her for everything. She took to commands, potty outside trrips and finally released some of her food anxiety. She was already fairly old when we got her but she was super sweet, quiet and loved hinny scratches.

Gypsy

Read Gypsy's Memory

Gypsy was our beautiful muted calico and for nearly 13 years she was so much more than a pet. She was family, our constant companion, and one of the brightest parts of our home.

She had a huge personality and an even bigger presence. She followed us everywhere, slept beside us, curled up in our laps whenever she could, and made herself part of every ordinary moment. During Covid, when working from home became part of daily life, she was always there, usually stretched across an arm or claiming space near the keyboard like she had every right to be there. She was affectionate, stubborn, funny, and completely aware that she ran the house.

The house feels quieter without her. We still look for her in the places she used to sleep and expect to hear her or see her around the corner. She left an enormous space behind, and she always will.

We miss her deeply, and we always will. But we are grateful for every year, every routine, every cuddle, and every moment we had with her. She was loved completely, all the way to the end.

Charlie Old Mans

Read Charlie's Memory

Charlie was my best friend and saved my life. He stood by my side through the bad and was always there when I needed him. Charlie will always be missed.

Read Heidi's Memory
We had the unbelievable pleasure of being Heidi’s family for 9 amazing years. We rescued her at the young age of 1 and she IMMEDIATELY made us “her own”. She bonded specifically to me, my son and my youngest daughter. She was our comforter, our protector and our best friend. She was the escape and unconditional love my son needed when he was struggling, the side kick and dress up doll my daughter was looking for, and my reminder to not take life too seriously. We loved her whole life, and will continue to love her for the rest of ours. Like my dad says, “there’s only one bad day.” We don’t deserve the love we get from these incredible creatures, but I’m so thankful God still gave them to us.

We love you sweet girl.

Thank you Dr. Courtney for being so supportive and loving towards our girl. It meant the world to us.

Trigger

Read Trigger's Memory

Trigger was a rascal and a perpetual two year old even at the age of 16! He was loud and boisterous and LARGE! He was a typical lab, eating was his passion, that and anything that involved getting wet or chasing rabbits. He brought me sooo much joy and helped me get through the death of my parents as well as the covid insanity. I never thought I would miss his almost constant barking and heavy panting. lol, but I do, VERY MUCH.

Trigger I miss our walks and I hope you are barking and chasing rabbits on the other side of the bridge.

Thank you to Dr. Scott for helping me give him a peaceful goodbye in the comfort of his own home. Thank you again, Serene Passages team.

Moimoi

Read Moimoi's Memory
Moimoi was my blessing. He was a road dog, a home dog, a camping dog. An all-around dog. We did EVERYTHING together. He was an expert eater, a 100% foodie. Moimoi loved karaoke and conversing. He was very good at letting you know that he had something to say. A very loving and welcoming dog. For being a small dog, his heart was enormous. Moimoi was my teacher, my personal comedian and my protector. After providing 17 years of amazing memories, he is now with his sister (Padmae) and his brother (Nimbus). He was the best companion. I will love you forever.
Dora

Dora

Read Dora's Memory
It was a privilege to have a dog like Dora. She was my first dog as an adult and my kids’ first dog. She was the matriarch of the family, a master lizard/bug hunter, and very smart and spunky. Dora was 16.5. We were so fortunate to have had her for so many years. We have lots of amazing memories and years of her love and companionship. I don’t know what we did to deserve such amazing companions, but they are definitely a gift from God. I’ll miss her for the rest of my life. I can’t wait to see her again. I know she’s up there running pain-free, catching lizards. Dora was “Our first friend”.

Dexter brought joy to our family for almost 8 years. He is extremely missed!
Jax Jones

Jax Jones

Read Jax Jones's Memory
We sent our boy off to college in the most loving, peaceful way in my arms while Jeff and Rocky loved on him as a family at home. We told Jax how much we all loved him and thanked him for being the best boy. We told him about all the friends he’s about to meet.

He has his wings now, free of cancer, free of all the discomfort and pain. I know he arrived at the Rainbow Bridge running and was met by our first boy Rex.

Jax will live on in everything we do and stays in our heart for eternity. We were absolutely blessed that our friends found him as a puppy all those years ago at Pick A Part and brought him to us to live such a happy family life for 11 years.

He was the most lovable & sweetest boy in the world. He was 60lbs of love and considered himself a lap dog to everyone. He made friends with everyone and even made a neighborhood friend Steven, back at our old home, who used to bring him treats every Wednesday. Jax would eagerly wait for those treats. His cuddles were my favorite and he always snuck up on the bed or couch to cuddle with his mama.

He was my soul dog, one of the greatest loves of my life. He was a mama’s boy to the core and felt so protected by his daddy and loved him so much. The sound of Jeff’s truck made him so happy everytime Jeff came home. He got to hear Jeff’s truck the night before and instantly perked up, so proud of Jeff getting the Ford fixed. Jax never acknowledged the Dodge Ram truck, he was a V8 lover to the core.

We will miss our boy forever, and we are so grateful for the gift of time we had. I know he will find us again. Have the best time with all your friends in college Jax, you took a piece of our heart and soul with you.

We love you forever, our Jaxy Boy

Mismo

Read Mismo's Memory

We had to say goodbye to Mismo after nearly 17 years.  Wine connoisseur, lover of arts and crafts with toilet paper and paper towels.  Magician and prankster who could open doors, drawers and cabinets.  His favorite was when you were in the hallway bathroom in the shower or on the toilet, and forgot to lock the door, he would open it, stare at you, and walk away….We love you with all our hearts and we will miss you terribly.

Thank you Dr. Scott, Joy and Don for the wonderful services you have provided.

Aurora

Read Aurora's Memory
It’s been 11 months since our Lil Roar left us and there’s not a single day that I don’t think about her and how much I miss her. All of our pets have a special place in our hearts, but there are those few over the course of our lives that hold an special place in our hearts and memories. Princess Aurora was one of those pets. The connection we shared was priceless. Maybe because over the almost 15 years we were blessed to have her in our lives, she shared our triumphs and heartbreaks. She was always with me showing her unconditional love and support. I still have to sleep with a pillow behind me or on one my legs because she was part of me. I can still feel her presence sometimes. We got a puppy about 4 months before she passed and those two pups shared a special bond. I can see Roar’s spirit through Mr Sullivan at times when he will do things that she did that no other pet ever did and I find that so comforting. The experience with Serene Passages at the end was so amazing! I will be forever grateful for their patience and caring in such a difficult time. Thank you for allowing me to share!

Tye

Read Tye's Memory

Tye was the most vocal guy, who would bark when we would celebrate with our sports teams. Tye would run and play for hours with his sister pup Prudence. Tye loved to steal every slice of pizza we could get his teeth on. He loved long road trips to Lake Mead, the redwoods and anywhere that had a pup cup! Tye’s passing leaves our home quiet, our pup sad and our hearts broken. Run free, sweet Tye, 14years with you just didn’t feel like enough time. We’ll see you on that rainbow bridge buddy!!

11 years of loving you and I can’t believe you’re gone. Everyone thought I was insane bringing a puppy into the house with a newborn but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. You were the absolute best friend in the entire world and our hearts are completely shattered. This was the hardest decision I ever had to make and I wish so badly that we had more time. I hope you know how much you were loved, my Hopper boy, I would’ve done anything in the world to take your pain away. The house will literally never be the same. You were the best dog I could’ve ever asked for, thank you for growing up with the boys and showing them so much love, I hope you are running in heaven with no pain and getting all the snickerpoodle cookies you could ever ask for. Bentley

Read Bentley's Memory
Bentley was our adorable dachshund/terrier mix, who we rescued over 12 years ago. He was the sweetest little boy, and never failed to bring a smile to strangers faces when he trotted by them on our walks. He loved warm naps in the sun and tummy rubs from anyone he met. We are heartbroken for his loss, but he will be remembered always by his family and friends.

Konan

Read Konan's Memory

“Konan was approximately 5 years old when I adopted him from a high kill shelter. He was next in line to be euthanized, but he suckered me in with his big head, large pointy ears, short little legs, and his tail nubbin moving a million miles an hour. He looked like a cartoon. He must have had a rough start in life because he had severe trust issues, and it took us a while to bond with each other. There was even a time I considered taking him back to the shelter because it wasn’t working out. I’m glad I stuck it out because, with training and a lot of perseverance, Konan became the best dog that ANYONE could ask for. He was protective and saved me from an attack from someone who meant to cause me harm. Fast forward a few years, and someone tried to break into my apartment through a ground window during Christmas. I wasn’t home at the time, but Konan kept the burglar out and kept my cats inside. He was my roadie and went with me everywhere. He was with me during a divorce and a move to another state. He helped several lost, and stray dogs find their homes. He helped people who were nervous around dogs feel more comfortable. He helped me train other dogs with behavior issues. He donated blood multiple times and saved the lives of other dogs. He taught new veterinary employees how to be better at their jobs. Despite everything he must have been through before, his zest for life and his unbelievable forgiveness was contagious. He lived to be around 15 years old when he developed cancer in his lungs, and I had to make the decision to say goodbye. He saved my life both physically and spiritually, and anyone who met him felt his positive energy. I miss him every day, but his contagious joy and cartoon looks will live on forever. I was so lucky to have him in my life.”

Diesel wearing a tie

Diesel

Read Diesel's Memory

In Loving Memory of Diesel

Twelve years ago, a little pup came into my life — and from that moment on, I was never alone.

Diesel wasn’t just my dog. He was my partner through active duty years, my road trip companion, my hiking shadow across countless national parks, and my quiet protector when the world felt heavy. We protected each other. He stood watch when I couldn’t. He stayed close when I needed grounding. He was steady, loyal, and fiercely loving.

Through every chapter — uniforms and transitions, long days and new beginnings — Diesel was there. His paws have touched more trails than I can count. His eyes always found mine. His presence made every place feel like home.

When I became a mother, he shifted seamlessly into his new role — guardian of my babies. I never once questioned their safety with him. He watched over them the way he always watched over me: calm, alert, devoted.

Letting him go was the hardest act of love I’ve ever had to give. But loving him for twelve beautiful years was one of the greatest gifts of my life.

Diesel, thank you for your loyalty. Thank you for your protection. Thank you for being my best friend.

Run free, my brave boy. Until we meet again.
